POSITION SUMMARY

The Director of Marketing is responsible for all marketing activities, including branding, paid advertising, organic advertising, social media, and other forms of marketing. They must coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, formulate and implement marketing strategies, and manage and grow brand awareness.

We are the Driving Academy, we provide affordable, state-approved classroom and behind-the-wheel lessons for aspiring truck (aka commercial driver's license [CDL]) drivers, and we are growing by the day. Our mission is to help our students get on the Road to Freedom by earning their CDL! PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES

  • Develops and executes marketing strategies
  • Promotes brand awareness and branding consistency within all organization communications and advertising
  • Directs and coordinates with key team members and venders
  • Reviews, Improves and reports marketing performance metrics and KPI’s to assess marketing effectiveness
  • Develops a budget for implementing paid marketing avenues
  • Conducts regular research identifying avenues of marketing
  • Oversees the performance and tasks of their team
  • Negotiate and manages relationships with marketing vendors
  • Develops brand awareness on multiple platforms
  • Participates in team employment activities such as mentoring, discipline, and hiring
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Detailed knowledge of paid and organic marketing best practices
  • Detailed knowledge on lead conversion best practices
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, personnel, and resources simultaneously
  • Strong Critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Strong analytical skills

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred
  • 5 Years experience in managing a team

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to spend prolonged periods of time standing, speaking, walking, driving, writing, and/or sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift at least 15 pounds at a time
  • Perform work with OSHA required PPE; Including COVID19 PPE
